Blackmon's "best" season was the ONLY one he was active for 16 games, his rookie year.  I think that's the "stat" that you completely miss.  After his rookie year he only played in four more games.

 

Also leads me to believe you weren't actually watching when he played, and only have a stat sheet to reflect on.

 

Otherwise, it's night and day talent wise.  It's why Blackmon was such a high prospect and Robinson was not.  It's also why his fall was so disappointing.

 

If Blackmon didn't take himself out of the league, we likely wouldn't have even drafted Robinson.  There would have been little or no need.

 

You're not posting like you've even watched Blackmon play at all, which I seriously doubt you have.  Always checking down to the stat sheet, where I'm not sure you've read all of that either.  You certainly don't seem to grasp how little he played for the Jaguars, yet had a large impact when he did.
