Not sure anyone agrees with the sentiment that he's a below average player, and if they do I don't agree with them.

But I don't think he's a top end player in this league or elite in any way until he fixes those mistakes. Those lapses in judgement and not being in position is the difference from a good and great defense. This team had troubles covering last year, especially at LB. People want to put all the blame on Poz but Telvin wasn't exactly locking guys down either and was a problem for us as well.

Also, I'm not saying other guys on our team don't have flaws. I'm saying if you want to put a guy in the elite category or list him as a top end player in the league, than he shouldn't be making the constant mistakes Telvin does.
