The main negative effects humidity has on players are cramps and dehydration, which cause players to temporarily be removed from the game. Breathing problems usually happen in mile-high Denver, where oxygen masks are available on both sidelines. I am sure there is a slight advantage or we would not wear white jerseys and pants in September, even though it is not much.
