Green Bay isn't prepared for our biggest advantage

A few practices in the 60s and 70s, huh? McCarthy says it's a mere 6 degrees warmer in Jax than Green Bay. Either he is trying to get his guys to not think about it much, or he just doesn't know. The humidity is going to be our single biggest advantage. If we are going to win this game, we have to run the ball until they're bringing in the meat wagon to haul off those dirty packers d lineman. Wear them out and don't get beat for big plays, and we have a shot.

It's 80 degrees and 60% humidity in Green Bay right now fwiw. I feel like that's a pretty big difference.

Man, how do they get anything done in that kind of heat?

Can the weather rush the passer?

The weather advantage is no joke. They don't get humidity like we do - makes it really hard to breathe out there.

Are you saying that Floridians can breathe better than most?

On field temps will be pushing 100.

Carolina (Super Bowl participant Carolina) had a pretty tough time beating us for the home opener last season.  In fact, we beat ourselves with turnovers.  That was a very winnable game.

Not sure why I'm the only one to remember this.

I hope Sunday morning is a bit cool just to give the Packers a false sense of security and then BAM! The real weather comes out right before kickoff.

Give me a night of rain followed by 3-4 hours of max temps so it's similar to a sauna out there by the time they take the field. Melted cheese is better anyway.

How did Mike McCarthy figure it will be only six degrees warmer in Jacksonville? The difference is more like 15 degrees not including humidity.

The Packers don't know how much Gatorade they will be drinking to prevent leg cramps.

While the heat and humidity can certainly affect some players, I don't think that it's as big of an advantage that most people think.  I'll never forget Donvan McNabb blowing chunks a few years back, but for the most part it really won't affect 98% of NFL players.
