This is what happens when politics is your religion, your driving force in life. It's quite cult like. An alternate reality of groupthink that demands conformity to hide the fatal logic flaws in the worldview.

Maybe if Trump wasn't such an abrasive, thin-skinned blowhard who doesn't feel like anyone (his handlers, the media, those who try to enforce the legal system of our country, etc.) has a right to tell him what he can and can't do or say I would be more inclined to believe he is the lesser of two evils. He has the temperament of a pre-schooler and has a long list of offensive statements which clearly represent his true feelings and opinions on things. He thinks he can bully our allies and our enemies into doing whatever he wants and has expressed a willingness to get us into military conflicts without a shred of diplomacy. He is not nearly as intelligent as he likes to believe he is on any number of things that have to do with government, policy, foreign affairs, diplomacy, the economy, etc. He is being openly promoted by the state controlled media of our greatest adversary and has a history of really shady dealings. And he is a pathological liar. Believe me.


Hillary is corrupt like you say (if you think Trump isn't too, your head is in the sand). She has some unsavory bedfellows as does Trump (coin toss between her ties to Saudi Arabia and his ties to influential people from the former Soviet republic). But, unlike so many on this board, I cannot completely discredit the fact she was a Senator, a First Lady and a Secretary of State as positive qualifications despite some of her not great moments when compared to a guy who has zero experience and thinks he can bully everyone into doing what he wants.


If he had truly great ideas it would be something (he doesn't). If he presented himself in a way which remotely made me think he gave a damn about anyone but himself, it would be something (he doesn't). If he didn't flip flop on almost every single issue he is discussing on his current campaign trail it would be something (he did). I cannot think of any redeeming human quality he possesses. He is a raging Richard-wad. If there was a better option than Hillary I would vote for it. I PROMISE YOU.


Hillary is three day old Taco Bell. But she's still more appetizing than a 'just made' turd sandwich.
