Troublesome Coaching Quotes
|
I haven't read through this entire thread but listening to the coaches/players talk for the first 2 weeks, I'm hearing a lot of "well we weren't lined up correctly", "We were mis-aligned", etc..This goes not only for the defense but for the offense as well. On 1010xl they quoted Olson as saying a WR wasn't lined up properly on the infamous screen pass with 9 seconds left.
What the hell were these coaches doing all offseason? High school JV teams don't have the alignment problems that we do. Between that and the penalties those are 2 clear examples of a failing coaching staff. And the sweeping the corners quote is by the far one of the worst things I've ever heard in sports...and I dealt with Al Golden at Miami for years. |
