The issue not incredibly more resources. It's a matter of scheme and fitting that scheme to the OL that you have. I think over the past 2 years, we have proved that our OL just cannot get up to the second level or catch the run blitzers on a stretch play, so stop running it.

Good running teams do not always have to invest insane resources (big money FA or high draft picks) on the OL. It's just not financially feasible given how much money you have to pay to other star positions. Success is based on scheme, film study, and focus.

Plus this is the NFL. Players get hurt. Even if you pay money to get 7 studs to rotate through your OL, you are still probably going to have a few other players rotate through the line due to injury. Playing to their strengths and calling running plays to do that is the way to make it work. If that requires creating new plays then so be it. If that requires Blake more under center, then honestly that probably is a good thing.
