I worked out at the Mayport Naval Base and recall stopping on a dime when they'd play the National Anthem in the morning. There were times when I was just about to pull the door open to walk in (and not be late) but once you hear the Anthem initiated on the speakers, it was better to be late than to be in motion during that period.
