I have been wanting to try this dietary change but am having to get all the no-go foods out of the house first as I'm not throwing it away. We're almost there.
How long have you been doing this? Do you feel better overall? I have only an ounce of red wine at night, keep to low carb veggies, try to eat my protein, fat, and carbs by macros with lower carbs and higher fat percentages. I only add sugar in the raw to my coffee. Actually it's almost the only thing I eat or drink that has added sugar. I do like my siggi's skyr, an Icelandic yogurt, and they do add a little sugar, but it's the only yogurt I will eat. I hate giving up quinoa and probably will still have it once a month in a recipe I have and enjoy. My one cheat other than my wine is one ounce of blue corn tortilla chips. I love those things! |
