Don't write off QBs too soon (Bortles)

#60

Sure, but they had more to work with in Stafford.  Stafford came out of college with an NFL-ready arm.......nobody was needed to teach him how to throw a football, he just needed to learn decision-making, etc.  Bortles we drafted knowing his mechanics were off, but has all of the other physical/mental traits and we were gonna teach him mechanics.  Having said that, as I said elsewhere, I want to see Blake with a competent coaching staff, and a reasonably decent OL and running game before I write him off.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
