It was blatantly obvious from the start that these people were not Jags fans wanting Tebow, but Tebow fans wanting him. A major argument back then was that it wasn't worth adding a group of transient fans of the player that would never have loyalty to the team unless said player was not just on the team, but starting. As soon as he was signed and not starting they would leave the fanbase, or if he had the chance and failed after a year or two and was released again they would be gone too. I feel that is what is happening with Manziel too.
