Ike Taylor's comments about Jalen Ramsey
|
Quote:I know some will disagree with me as in the case of the Dante Fowler Jr./ Vic Beasley discussion in another thread, which I'm more than comfortable with. But much like with Fowler as a front seven player, I think Jalen Ramsey would potentially benefit greatly if the Jaguars had a veteran highly accomplished mentor at CB. Players often relate better to their peers than to coaches. So you think it is not good enough to have Prince Amukamara, who although not "highly accomplished" has had a good career when healthy, on the other side? The last sentence is painful because right now we just fired a coach players were not listening to. Our new coaching staff will certainly include defensive assistants, who should help Ramsey next season. |
