I'm sure you have no problem with the Koch Brothers who are like Soros and spend big to influence elections and political winds.

If you believe the current leaders of this country got where they are because of us small folk then you haven't been paying attention. The political world is like a game of chess where people manipulate and are manipulated to get what they want, whether it's into office or something from those who are in office. Politicians got where they are because of lobbyists, special interest groups, corporations, and others. This whole voting thing is becoming something we all do just to make ourselves feel better, like we've actually contributed, and to an extent we do but we are only able to vote for those who we had no control over in regards to their rise to the position they're in.

 

Have you ever watched House of Cards? In an interview, Kevin Spacey was asked if the show depicts how things actually happen in DC. He said the time he spent there to learn about how to play his role more effectively was a wake up to reality call. He said it was every bit as brutal as portrayed in the show and what they portray is some pretty jacked up stuff.
