i totally agree with this on bortles and carr, the more i watch the more i like about bortles, he is not a runner, he is not scared, if he reminds me of anyone he reminds me of luck, one of those guys that doesn't mind almost likes taking a hit.

 

plus he already goes through his reads really quickly only going to the checkdown if he can't extend the play

i also saw something i've not seen before from a college qb, bortles against i think it was rutgers, he had one man out of 4 open in a clean pocket

the open guy was on a crossing route across a man scheme with him man trailing, bortles rolled out to give himself the angle to make the throw for a score

 

i think he has everything except the arm strength of the top tier prospects which is why he is not the consensus number one in this draft

with time i think he could become an eli manning level qb, which is not high praise right now but the rings on his finger make me think he is a good investment

 

it sickens me to do this so early but for now i am on the bortles bandwagon
