There were always going to be parts that they would retain in any replacement option. This notion that he's not going to deliver on that plan is completely misleading. Congress is already working on the legislation based on past attempts to get the ACA repealed and replaced. Even Ryan has indicated that they will be ready to move the legislation through both houses. The problem is Trump never offered a plan for making sure all of the good stuff will not go away at the time it is repealed or what will be included/excluded in a new law. What do you think is going to happen between repealing that law and a new law being passed? Everything goes back to the way it was during that time period because there is no law to control the insurance companies, of course. |
