Who is going to give Glennon that?

He hasn't started in a couple seasons and when he did he wasn't fantastic.

 

I know he'll garner a contract with someone with a "shot" at starting but I don't see that guy getting sure-fire starter money.

 

Brocky-poo somehow fleeced the tinhorns with 7 games of average at best QB play on a SB bound team. And I don't care what anyone says... that HAS to scare teams off from mini-resumes.

Glennon's is more dated and probably less successful.

 

   The 49ers and Jets come to mind as two teams that could give Mike Glennon that type of contract.   In the case of the 49ers,  it probably won't happen with Chip Kelly as their HC but he could easily be one and done in SF.    In the case of the Jets,  owner Woody Johnson could force the action.  

 

    It gets back to what are the viable options for teams needing a QB?    The FA market is going to be very limited at best.   Right now,  this doesn't shape up to be one of the better QB draft classes.

 

  Though what you expressed about Mike Glennon has a great amount of validity,  all it takes is one team to open the check book.
