You are bringing in a guy who is past his prime to a team that has yet to reach it's prime.


All you would be doing is forcing yourself to have to start the QB search and development process all over again when the rest of your roster is peaking.


This team needs to worry about a guy who can bring a high level of play over the period of years not some guy who has little if any future in this league.


He's a franchise QB who can still play at a high level. You'd be crazy not to bring him in if you got the chance. Although he most likely won't want to finish his career here.
