I don't care if we have to spend a 1st round pick on a RB, as long as we get someone who turns us around from being a one dimensional offense. If teams know we have a run game and have to prepare as such, the pressure on the passing game to carry the load will be relieved. I think we'd see much more of a balanced, productive offense with a much better ground game. I don't want to take guys like Samuels, who might "contribute". I want to go big and try to draft a star at RB, who opposing teams will truly have to game plan for. As for not being sure if Foreman will break runs in the NFL, the same can be said for Samuels. We just don't know until we see them play on the next level. That can be said for any rookie, at any position. All you can judge them on is past performances and Foreman has consistently broken big runs in college and has 100+ yard rushing games in every contest this past season. That's as consistent as you can get. 

 

Even looking at the long runs, Samuels has a long run of 74 yards, but his next longest run dips clear down to 36 yards in 2016. Foreman has a long run of 74 yards as well, but he also has big runs of 62 yards, 47 yards, 44 yards and 40 yards as well in other games this past season. If you want to go with odds, Foreman seems like more of a sure thing.

 

Not only do I expect stardom for Foreman, I genuinely believe he is the safest pick in the draft.
