D'Onta Foreman to enter 2017 NFL Draft
|
Quote:Foreman has flaws, too. Don't recall ever seeing him pass-block much at all nor catch a whole lot of passes. Can't call him an every-down back when he can't/hasn't done things like that in college. Look at any scouting report on the kid. He's considered one of the top pass blockers in the NCAA at his position. As for receiving, that's all scheming. If he's not targeted in the passing game, how is he supposed to feature that skill set? There have been a ton of premier rushers in the NFL who were not known for being much of a receiver in college, because they weren't targeted. Once they were given that chance in the pros, they thrived. Right now, that is an unknown part of his game, because he hasn't been given a chance. All I can say, is that his twin brother plays WR for the Longhorns, so his brother has the genes to be a decent receiver. I see no reason why D'Onta wouldn't inherit at least some of that particular skill set. |
