I watched most of the chargers game and his release is slow but he makes up for it with ball placement and knowing where to go with the ball. Brees is similar to Rivers. They both know where to go with the ball and how to carve up a defense.

Blake grew up liking the gunslinger style play of Farve who leads in pick sixes but unlike Favre he doesn't have the quick release and zip on his throws. Teams are bullying our WRs and stuffing the running lanes big time. Blake has only beaten the Colts defense consistently at this point.
