Flip that to Carr and you are taking the one game where he didn't look like a franchise QB prospect and laterally assessing that to the rest of his games, to your own fault I should add. Other than footwork issues (which he has improved a lot this year) he is absolutely nothing like Gabbert. At all. Carr is easily one of the most accurate QBs in the draft (especially deep). Dead giveaway that you haven't watched many of his games if you are knocking his accuracy.


Lastly, I don't even know what the heck 'drops too deep' means. That's just what the offense he plays in calls for, and it has literally zero to do with a prospect evaluation.

No, deep drops extend the length of your throw and put you at risk to blitzers that have already been pushed outside by the tackles. It hurts your vision and makes it very difficult to step into throws. It also throws off the timing of the routes and makes it more difficult to be on target in short and intermediate timing patterns. Dead giveaway that you don't know what you're talking about.
