I actually like Mack more than Barr.  I also like Van Noy more than both.

 

I'd rank my top 3 linebackers:

 

1.) Van Noy

2.) Mack

3.) Barr

 

Van Noy is just flat out disruptive out there, even against top competition.  His stats dipped this year, but look at the Texas tape and you'll see he basically had 2 or 3 more sacks that game where he just unloaded on Ash right as he was throwing.  I also like that he plays in coverage as well.  Van Noy is great at shedding blocks with spin moves and great hands, but he needs to get a little stronger at the point.  Both Mack and Barr almost exclusively rush 9 out of 10 plays.  I like Mack a lot more at the point of attack than Barr.  Mack is very strong and also has good bend, while Barr just tries to run around people.  It's going to be interesting to see Mack in coverage during the offseason and see what kind of speed he really has when in space.
