I'm sure the microfracture has made those change of direction skills even farther below average too. He will probably always struggle to win around the edge, but he can be a force against the run and on inside moves. 
 

Look I don't want to banter, but watch him play a few games.  The DCs almost always double team him, then he dominates offensive lines, he sets the edge, he tackles RBs on the other side of the line, he pulls holding calls, and he gets to QB from time to time. In my opinion, that's pretty good.
