Caldwell isn't going anywhere

It's pretty simple. The problem is either the players or the coach. Caldwell picked both. Either way, it's his fault.
Keep in mind that this isn't a case where he hired a coach, quickly realized his mistake, and then corrected it. If Gus is really as incredibly incompetent as people on here suggest, why did it take nearly four years for Caldwell to realize it? Taking that long to realize it would make Caldwell incompetent. If he's so clueless, why would we trust him to pick the next coach!?!?!?! Here's another thought that I haven't seen anyone mention. The Caldwell/Bradley regime won 4 games in Year One and 2 games (through 14) in Year Two. If we have far more talent in Year 4, why are we winning FEWER games? It's the same coach. It says to me that the level of talent on this team hasn't improved nearly as much as some people on here have deluded themselves into believing. |
