What would Davad Garrard do with the current roster?

David was an athletic quarterback with only an average skill set. Unfortunately, he was hamstrung with sub-par receivers at the time he was here. Nevertheless, I think he would still be a legitimate upgrade from what we presently have. I think that a quarterback with even average ability would've had us at least close to an 8-8 record this season and legitimate play-off contenders in our weak division.
It is ridiculous that a quarterback who was drafted as the third over-all pick has to work prodigiously with basic skills for his position. ...nice going Dave. |
