Even teams that don't coach the senior bowl end up picking players from those rosters. It's not as if we consistently found some gems because we coached the senior bowl in multiple years.


Them not picking Derek Carr after spending a week with Him and instead drafting a guy who can't throw the football eliminates a huge amount of good they could've done otherwise.


Even last year we had Dak Prescott yet we didn't pick him. At some point those missed outweigh the good picks which were Linder and Telvin Smith, and Colvin if I'm being generous.

 

You obviously are not qualified to have an opinion about the Senior Bowl if it is based on what players did three years later. At the time two coaching staffs go down there to work with all-star players it is a big deal for everyone no matter what happens that week. People who know anything about the draft process know this.

 

Without being a team executive, coach, or scout who worked in Mobile last week, you have no ability to determine who was a good or bad prospect based on an all-star game. Our coaching staff obviously saw an awful lot that fans never got a chance to see until after Derek Carr and Dak Prescott were drafted.
