EDIT: I see it KY. You feel that because leadership and mentoring can't be measured in a stat line, players who are great are more than likely on a path to success whether they had help or not just cause. I understand that but without actually knowing the players to see whether thats truly real or not, is just spitting out an opinion and using it as fact. WHY again is this an issue when he admitted he benefited from the help. Did he already tell you he did it himself so he's just saying that to the media but you have the inside scoop. I just wanna know so i can understand the point.

Because theres nothing wrong with having a good veteran, its mostly never a negative unless somehow you sign a vet whos straight up cancer. But it doesnt really make that much of a difference if the player is good to begin with, which beasley was. His success was never not going to happen based on the evidence that got him drafted to begin with. It just doesnt matter all that much but everyone wants to use it as a cop out for why fowler isnt or wont be as good when thats not his problem at all.
