His biggest problem was the coach, I agree with the majority here on that. However, his drafts looked good on paper.....but they didnt pan out the way we thought they would. Hes got some work to do. But I tell you what, that guy and his budget staff can negotiate a contract. Ive never seen someone work the phones like he does. Guy has every contract team friendly and they can get out of it after a year or so with almost no penalty. I feel like that aspect is so crucial to a front office, the Jags understand that and want no part of that leaving. 

 

Coughlin will groom him. He just needs better organization with the team. He hired a players coach and the locker room was like a frat house. This is a business, the ones that understand that and run their teams like that ( patriots, steelers) succeed.
