I dont know of any GM that whiffed on a first round QB and is currently employed, the closest i can think of is the redskins but that wasnt really an evaluation problem, thats a health problem and they drafted his replacement in the same draft. Otherwise if you miss on your first round qb youre probably gone.


And sure not everyone constantly hits on their first round picks. But weve had 4 top 5 picks so far and have one above average player out of all of them. And when you compound that with all the other poor drafting yeah theres really no defense for him.


And yeah entire groups. 2013 gave us Marks and Miller and nothing else, and we only got one good season out of marks. Not a single player from the 2014 free agency class is on the team anymore, and the 2015 class thats left is Skuta(mediocre) House(mediocre and on his way out) Jeremy Parnell(mediocre) and Walters(5th string)


In 4 years and the most cap in history and we have the most recent free agent class and two defensive tackles that are probably gone soon.
