One thing that I forgot to add to the OP (I will edit it now) and that I really liked hearing is that he said they will really have to build the scheme around the talent of the players they have and not trying to stubbornly trying to make them fit in a pre-determined scheme.
That fits well with what he said about Jack: they need his talent and to have him on the field and will look for a place for him rather than confining him to a role that doesn't play to his strenghts (like last year at SAM). I also liked how he addressed the Ramsey-Gipson comments, he handled that well: acknowledged something should have been different but still not pleased at their comments to the press but let's move on now and look ahead. |
