I don't hate Fournette but I believe there are a lot of good backs in this draft and the DLine position will get thinned out very quick. A very good back will be there in round 2 and 3 but you can't say the same about pass rushers or Dline players.


For the Jags to select a RB at 4, I believe he should be a complete back with exceptional 3rd down qualities like Elliot. I don't think Fournette is that. Simple as that.

I'll bump this post when he is in the pro bowl. Yes. Let's take another pass rusher that will take a good few years to develop over a running back who will change the entire scheme of your offense immediately. Who not only helps your young QB after an alarming set back and opens up the passing game by giving him one on one situations. Who says he's not a great pass catcher on 3rd down? You think teams would even be considering him in the top 5 if he didn't acquire that skill in some compacity? Come on.
