He needs to work on his mechanics which will help him avoid the bad throws that result in turnovers and raise his completion percentage but it's hard to think of a guy who's been responsible for as much offense as he has as a bust.  For some perspective, look at some previous Jags starter's first 3 years.

Sure, Bortles has to bring down the turnovers and work on the completion percentage, but if you take Brunell as the gold standard (Pride of the Jaguars and all that), Bortles is at least in the conversation.
