What if you were trying to use the opposite side of the spectrum to describe them? "You really can't compare a gigantic NFL sized dad beating his helpless 40 lb son with a weapon and leaving multiple heinous gashes on his leg to a guy defending himself against a girl who hit him first?"
See, both of our statements were true and completely opposite sounding based on how we want the situation to look.

 

I just don't get why you (or most people) are trying to paint one situation as benign and the other as one of the worst assaults ever caught on video and should cause the man to be sentenced to a destitute life of minimum wage living.
