Actually there was nothing to Trump and his team working with the Russians.

There was something to the Russians trying to tamper in many different ways (although no votes changed).

But as long as Trump won, no need to worry about a little meddling from Russia, amIrite? I'm betting they counted on just this level of complacency.

The second thing is what Obama and his admin chose to ignore and wait for Trump to win to flip script.

Obama did nothing? Imagine the uproar from Trumpettes had Obama acted during the primary season.

But... ya know...
