2. The housing market partially recovered. My house is currently worth about half of it's listed value by Zillow in 2008.

The stock market going up is no help when you have no job or savings. Bragging on the stock prices is like bragging on how much more some billionaire is worth than he was in 2008. There are a lot of people who never got their jobs back after eight years of Obama, and the workforce participation rate declined through the entire Obama era.
