It's in his statement.   No mainstream media involved here.   This is directly from Trump Jr.  The guy just confessed to everything they've been denying for months.

This whole thing smells like it was a setup if you actually look at the series of events that lead up to that meeting.  Donald Jr releasing the email chain pretty much supports the fact that, as any campaign would do, he was willing to meet with someone who had potential dirt on a candidate they were running against.  That was the premise of the meeting.  The whole premise of the meeting was a lie to get this woman in front of the Trump campaign to lobby over something else completely.  So, at the end of the day, Junior met with a woman who had absolutely no affiliation with the Russian government to talk about the possibility of easing adoption restrictions with Russia.  So, Trump Jr. confessed to meeting with her.  There's no crime.  There was no reason for him to even disclose it since he's a private citizen.  So, tell me again what you're so (CNN induced) outraged over here?

Oddly enough, the Clinton campaign did the EXACT same thing colluding with the Ukrainian government to obtain dirt on Trump.  I guess CNN hasn't triggered your outrage over that one.

I think nothing burger is actually giving it too much weight.  It's simply nothing but more hyper-sensationalized reporting by a network desperately trying to find some way to regain a shred of credibility before they get completely flushed down the toilet.
