TheO-LineMatters 7 round Mock Draft

#4

Personally hate the Jaguars draft here. Lots of meh.

Few glaring mistakes :

Dante Pettis - 6th round? He's far more likely to be in the second or third. Particularly after he blows up the combine.

DJ Moore - Likewise, probably a 2nd round pick.

Jeremy Reaves - 3/4

Fred Warner is a huge riser. Will go much higher than 7th.

Gallup- will easily go in first 3 rounds.

Andrew Brown - likewise.

James Daniels - might be the 2nd center off the board if not the first

Pettis is not a #1 receiver. When I saw him, he was just kind of meh. Nothing special. A good Combine might elevate him to the 4th, but the guys with potential to be a #1 receiver will go ahead of him.

Moore could go higher. His speed will determine where he is placed.

Reaves could very well go higher as well. I had a difficult time placing him. I just think it speaks to the overall quality of the draft in general.

Gallup, I don't see going any higher. He's productive, but from what I've read, no one expects him to run over a 4.55. They say he lacks speed and athleticism. He's just one of those overachieving, hard workers. We shall see. Things will most certainly change after free agency and the Combine. It always does. If he runs faster than expected, he'll rise. If not, there is just too many quality WR's who entered the draft early and pushed him down the board. He reminds me of Jarvis Landry. More of a #2 receiver.

Brown could go higher as well. He's a true 3-4 DE and that is where his value is, so he's pigeon holed a bit. Some team might take him as a 3 technique, but there are just so many good DT's in this draft already.

For me, Daniels is definitely the 3rd or 4th best Center in the draft behind Price and Ragnow. To me, Daniels and Clapp are basically neck and neck. I have Mason Cole being drafted as an OT.
