I don't argue that he will get in because we all know he will.

But he wasn't an elite player. His stats are bloated due to how long he played. When Vinny Testaverde retired, he was 6th in passing yards, 7th in passing TDs and 7th in completions. These are the same arguments people are using to boost Eli.

I too saw the Twitter thread. 

Vinny passes the production test but fails the two other very important categories and thus isn't in. 

Eli in Hall only matters if you consider the halls goal to be a ranking of players.....when really that's not it's goal
