I have actually been beyond impressed by TL. The young man has a very even temperament and is without a doubt the future of this franchise.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

This thread is a massive overreaction as far as I'm concerned. Sure, Trevor has thrown a few more picks than I would have liked, but this is a guy with incredible arm talent who was able to do practically anything he wanted on the field against college competition. It is naturally going to take him a little time to adjust to the increased level of competition in the NFL. He is still a better passer than the majority of NFL starters, and when he gets a little experience under his belt working with the increased speed and different schemes of defenses, he will end up being one of the best in the game. I have absolutely no worries about him at all, and wouldn't dream of trading him for any other QB in the league with the exception of Mahomes. Trevor is going to be THAT good.

I would just like to see less 3 and outs but that's not just in him. That's on the play calling and the wr to get open and catch. The online looks good so far.

Beyond the on the field performances good and bad, what I like about the kid is the fact that he's so used to winning yet in spite of the losses, he's remaining pretty resolute and seems to be keeping it together mentally. You can't emphasize that enough because he's doing that at 21 years old, 4 games into his NFL career. Some of us forget that sometimes. That says a lot about his mental makeup and were he might be in 3 or 4 years. Very exciting!
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I think Lawrence is going to be a good NFL QB if he keeps his attitude and keeps working.  I would like to see a lot less run-option crap.  That kind of stuff will get a QB hurt in the NFL.

I hate this narrative.  He had by far his best game last night.  I do not know anyone arguing that.  That does not change the fact he looked horrendous the previous 3 games.

Lets hope he continues to play the way he did on Thursday. He played smart and most importantly did not turn over the football.

It is working for Lamar. Plus, Trevor said he likes running. The more running the better imo. And I don't me just read option. I mean roll outs, sprint outs and play action bootlegs too.

Minshew had more wins in his Rookie season then travor has gotton.  Minshew won 6 games his rookie season. Trevor has won zero games his rookie season, and Minshew had a lousy HC. all facts.

Trevor has a long way to go if Minshew has more wins then him in his rookie season.  I'm just saying.

Well, every situation is different. Part of it is the skill set that Trevor brings is elite. Some of those throws he made on the run last night are rare to see. Additionally, his leadership ability is very high. I really, really like Minshew as a player and as a quarterback, but he does not have close to the ceiling that Trevor Lawrence does.
