Norman has been rubbing PGA hierarchy the wrong way since the 80s with his idea of starting another golf league. I've read that Jack Nicklaus is not his biggest fan. Norman knows where he stands in the eyes of the PGA and has acknowledged that he would have to step aside in order to get LIV moving forward. He gave LIV foothold and that's mission accomplished in his eyes.

They made him buy his own ticket at the Masters. He had to scalp one.

He doesn't care. His enterprises made him a nice bundle years ago. Antagonism and self-promotion are his livelihood now.
