He was Private Ryan- the one they were saving. He didn't come in until the third act.

Not only was that movie completely bad [BLEEP] awesome, the cast list was extremely impressive.

Tom Hanks

Matt Damon

Vin Diesel

Tom Sizemore

Ted Danson

(Just to name a few)

Even Heisenberg was in it.. Wonder if he made blue meth back then too..

I was being facetious. I know he was Private Ryan, but the movie focused more on the guys who were saving him. Not the character who was being saved. He was barely in the movie. I know this is a strange comparison, but his role in that film was like Jared Leto's role as The Joker in Suicide Squad. You expect him to get a lot of screen time, but the movie focuses on other characters instead.

I watched Suicide Squad a few days ago. Other than Margot Robbie and Jared Leto being really good in their roles, it was a very disappointing film. Too much Deadshot and not enough of the rest of the characters. In fact, I would love to see an entire film dedicated just to the relationship between the Joker and Harley Quinn. I was fascinated by the flashbacks that attempted to tell their story, (but it was so brief, it failed miserably.) Leto was barely even in the film and one of the Suicide Squad members played by Adam Beach was in and out in like 5 minutes. I was like, "why even put him in the movie, if he's gonna get killed that quick?"

The plot was disconbobulated, there was hardly any character development and the whole control of Enchantress through the imprisonment of her heart was really weird. If the film would've been more straightforward with one clear enemy, not so many subplots and more background on each character, it would've been a much better film. As it is, this one is on par with Batman vs. Superman, meaning it isn't very good.

That would be a long drive just to see a movie. Lol. We have $6 movies all day long on Tuesdays up here in NC too. :-)
