What would a win Sunday against Pittsburgh mean to you?

Quote:Let's all be honest.  If we won, we'd be talking about 8-8, 9-7 or even 10-6 to end the season and possibly making the playoffs.

Loss. Probably another thread pops up about 2015 draft and free agent acquisitions.

Nope. People are not going to suddenly call us a playoff team just because we won one game against an average team that could not beat the Buccaneers.

Then you would not be very smart.

I won't think about the playoffs until after the bye week.

It would mean BB would be .500 as a starter.

When was the last time we had a QB who was .500 or better during the season?

All the way back to DG.

It's been too many seasons and too many bad memories for my liking.

You are just now realizing this???

Ultimately, a win would give this young team confidence. Once one win happens, I expect more competitive games throughout the year, and maybe a couple win streaks. I still expect 6 wins.

It'd give me a glimmer of hope for the future.

Frankly if we could just imrpove and actually "get better every day" that'd give me some hope.

It would mean the steelers are really bad. Droping a game to the bucs then te jags back to back is the kiss of death.

Luke McCown 2011.  Useless bit of trivia for the day.  He was undefeated in 2011....for 1 game, beat the Titans.  Then he pooped on himself at the Jets.

Yes they would. It happens after every win. Just like we'll go winless after every loss.

would give me faith in my 6 and 10 prediction

i feel like if we don't get a win soon we will slide to somewhere around 3-13, 4 -12 which i think would turn the heaters on under our staff seats

if we go past the browns week 7 without a win I will start to get worried

Yeah, if our first win doesn't happen within the next 3 weeks, our coaches should start worrying about their jobs. I'll be in jacksonville for the Browns game, but I hope we have a win or two before then. There's a good reason I picked that one
