Are we underestimating Ace Sanders?

Quote:I'd be nice to see him and Drob together and run and run those end around type plays. Where we have the option of handing it off to Drob or sanders comes around from the WR spot. Don't remeber what that type of play it is called, but it's been pretty successful with other teams this year.

A reverse

Quote:What? I thought he was allowed to play in preseason games. That usually is what happens when players are suspended for all of September.
He was "getting well" during preseason. He did play in the last game though and didnt look rusty at all. I'm sure his conditioning isnt great but we aren't gonna ask him to play 80 snaps anyway.

I think Ace does well next week.  He put up respectable numbers with Henne, so with Bortles...

Ace doesn't play this week though.

What part of "four game suspension" don't you understand?

We might surprise people. If the Chargers can beat the Seahawks, who are we to say the Jaguars can't keep it close?

Why?  Have you not seen these young guys we have on the roster.  Blackmon can kick rocks for all I care!

Where have you been hiding? Nobody who has seen the Allens (Robinson and Hurns) catch passes misses him.

Yeah but some shotgun five wide looks with Bortles, Blackmon, Hurns, Shorts, Lee, and Robinson would be deadly.

Hurns, Shorts, Sanders, Lee, and Robinson = 5 wide receivers

Obviously you forgot Sanders only has to miss one more game.

Our QB will get killed in a 5 wide empty set with this offensive line...

Not trying to be TMD like, but I'm not a fan of Shorts. He had like one good season, and now he's constantly concussed or his hammy is injured. I doubt they resign him this offseason.

Look at the caliber of QB he was playing with. Let's please give our guys a chance with Bortles playing before we write people off.

Something I noticed Sunday was the offensive line plays better when a good quarterback is behind it.

shes saying that the Chargers shouldnt have been expected to beat the Seahawks, since the Seahawks are the defending champs and regarded as the best team in the League, but they did beat them, so why cant we beat the Chargers since they are regarded as a better team than us.
