The Colts had several of those moments last night. I remember a key pass that would have been a 1st going off Reggie Waynes hands. That pass alone could have changed the course of the game as they lost a close one.

Oehser summing up Bradley's comments on Henne:

 

Henne, who completed 12 of 17 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the first half, finished the game 24-of-43 passing for 266 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. That meant he completed 12 of 26 passes for 99 yards in the second half, during which Bradley said he had six or seven passes dropped.

“We have to make sure the ones that are thrown to us, we catch,” he said. “It’s that simple. Those six or seven plays we had the opportunities to catch, we have to make those plays.”

Bradley added, “We didn't capture every opportunity offensively,” and said overall Henne performed efficiently.

“He did a good job with the offense,” Bradley said. “He was prepared. He executed. Just like everybody, I’m sure there were some throws he would like back, but we’re pleased with how he performed.”

 

 

I really don't see some gleaming endorsement of Henne here. Just a coach being a coach at a press conference.

I dont like to hear Gus talk about football. I dont listen to his radio show or his videos from his press conferences. I just hope he can coach the team efficiently for the remainder of his contract. I'll take that progress right now.

He doesn't need to (and shouldn't) trash anyone.

 

But you can be more honest with the evaluation.  Henne was very efficient in the first half, but the entire offense was inefficient in the 2nd half and struggled to move the ball.  That will have to improve.

 

In the first half, the offense got gifted with extremely short fields.  Other than that they were completely inept.  All other drives only combined for 3 points.  I don't think efficient is the way to describe it but if it is starting to sound like a change is coming then I'm all for it.
