Oh I know, when Urbs was with the Gatas.  You'll always get guys that are academically ineligible, or guys that will leave the following year for whatever reason, but you will also get guys that get screwed in the process that you never hear about because the school keeps the news quiet.  Doesn't make it right.

Funny thing is, I don't think Urban ever had a player not qualify when he was at UF. Somehow, these guys all magically qualified.

 

I'm sure everyone of them were scholar athletes too.

It is impossible to make any player "magically" qualify under different standards. Urban Meyer is required to follow the same rules as any other coach.

FSU lands former Alabama LB Adonis Thomas. Also flipped TE Tre Mckitty from Oregon. The Gators were on Thomas hard in 2015 and had him committed at one point. FSU fought off Miami and Awburn for Mckitty.
