I'm sort of with Tommy on it not being that big of a deal. Black players make up a good portion of the NFL.  Just because a quarterback won it, in my opinion, downplays what many others have done. 

 

If you know any hard of hearing black people, ask them what they think is a bigger accomplishment. I would expect them to say deaf player in the Super Bowl.

While I dont know anyone personally who is deaf and African-American, my best bet would be if asked they would probably say they would be proud of both accomplishments.

You just proved my point.  Someone that is hard of hearing may think that its a bigger accomplishment for a deaf person to play in the Super Bowl while a black person may think an African American quarterback is an accomplishment.  Both are opinions, not a fact.
