Wheww.....
'meaningless wins', like meaningless 'garbage time' stats are just that.... meaningless.

Not from a draft position standpoint, and that's the only thing the Jaguars are playing for at this point.

What about a meaningless loss?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

aka turnovers

Has to drive our D crazy.

thought you been watching games

You know what I see when I watch our games?

The Jacksonville Jaguars.

You know what I see when I watch our next opponent?

The Minnesota Vikings.

Obviously I am not seeing the same thing when I watch two different teams.

There are no meaningless losses either.

A win is a win and a loss is a loss no matter when it happens. Wins are always good and losses are always bad because teams want to win every game.

Man. Shocked some of you still care if they win or lose this season.

Gus will rattle off 4 straight wins to push us into the 12th spot in the draft and dance around the locker room.

A true fan would want what is best for the Jaguars, which is the highest possible draft pick to help the new HC and GM in 2017.   Only a fan of the Broncos and Packers would want the Jaguars to fail next year.

I've been saying this is gonna happen for a long time.

I even think Gus is the coach next year.

And I ALSO believe we will win around 9 games next year....

Go ahead.. lol

I'm hoping they lose out and that the 49ers beat the Jets today so we've got a chance at the 2nd pick overall.

That's a nightmare scenario if Gus is back again next year.  I've been a fan since inception, but even I might have to stop watching if the Gus Bradley fire dumpster is allowed to continue.

At some point, you have to stop the insanity and change the culture of losing here.

If we had zero talent, and there were an a Drew luck at the top of the draft...

I guess I wouldn't be any more upset than normal if we lost.

I just don't believe in sacrificing the integrity of the game to position ourselves for the draft..I say build a winner and play every game to win.

That's one thing I'm very proud of as a jags fan.

Most MOST of our guys are playing their [BLEEP] off. Even though the season is a loss

I can t argue against that.

However...

I believe if Blake weren't losing games for US.

Gus would have us at maybe 7 or 8 wins right now.

And I believe Kahn will see that too and keep him one more year

Let's be optimistic.. shall we?

Last week Blake played ok yeah? Other than 1 bone head throw.

Maybe he does it again and we win...

I'll take that win any day

It's not even about "tanking" to get a better draft position, the team is simply poorly coached and unprepared, game after game.

And even without an Andrew Luck at the top, there is Garret, Allen, Fournette, all game-changers.  Ideally, one of the QB's will emerge as next year's Carson Wentz and we can trade back a few spots, pick up a few extra picks, and still get a difference-maker.

I'm personally not a huge fan of Caldwell, but if he is here next year, it does appear he's gotten better at his FA and drafting compared to his first year here.  If we can get another draft class like 2016, then maybe, just maybe, we can be competitive in 2017.
