ummm.... is there a question here somewhere?

How do you keep up with fulham and wth does it have to do with the Jags.

He's spent boatloads of money on them, the stadium and the community.

So whats the point?

His motives are like any good businessman....buy low, hopefully sell high.

Its really not rocket science, here.

The Jaguars were a great opportunity to make a lot of money as they were able to be acquired so "cheaply" relative to other NFL teams.

To eventually sell high though, the Jags at some point are going to have to be successful. I assume he'll try to make that happen.

Not sure what youre hoping to get out of this thread? You said he has not done anything with Fulham yet, and I said he's only owned the team 5 months! This is the best comebak you could come up with?

There won't be much return on an NFL franchise? Are you kidding?

I think Khan guessed wrong. The idea was he'd buy an NFL team at today's prices then flip it as soon as LA built their stadium and/or enter LA with the team himself.

Weaver was caught red-handed attempting to sell the team to LA interests a few years prior to selling to Khan.

When he bought the team, he announced his intentions were to turn the Jaguars tickets into the hottest tickets in the NFL.  He may be delusional, but I like the way he thinks.  On the other hand, if he's right, Jags tickets are going to get pretty expensive.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Weaver's intentions was to sell to the franchise (to anyone) with the clear understand the team remains in Jax.

The LA group did not disclose prior to (or ahead of time) before negotiations that their interest was to relocate the team to LA.

It's just the naivety of youth.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

LOL.  You do realize that clear understanding means nothing, don't you?

You can apply "virtual certainty" right there with "clear understanding."

I seem to remember Khan being quoted as telling his son that it took him so long to land an NFL franchise that if he ever sold it, he would come back from the dead and haunt him the rest of his life. I think once you cross the $2B mark, you maybe don't look at everything as a money grab. In short.. its foolish to think he just wants to flip the team.. as evidenced by the significant investments he is making. I think a Lombardi trophy would give him a bigger pup tent than a $200M profit.

When did Shad Khan's ownership officially take hold? Was it week 11 of 2011 or was it not official until the 2012 season?

I am hoping he will adopt me. I like him and his approach. We won the owner sweepstakes in my opinion.
