If im spending 300 million dollars on anything, I would like to evaluate it for more than 5 months (the amount of time he has owned Fullham) before knowing what I need to do to it!

He's throwing a bunch of money into the jags. So I would imagine he'd do the same with Fulham. Billionaires don't buy teams to lose games.

I suspect his motives are to run businesses which connect with the communities they are in, which will give him a legacy and probably to a large extent are just fun to be involved in, there is probably a heft dose of ego too, but I'm no psychologist.

 

He has made enough money so he can now afford to run businesses which may not always make big profits but if things go well there are a lot of people in Jacksonville and London who will think the sun shines out of his butt. Not many people will love you for running a car parts company.

 

With regards to doing nothing for Fulham, they have just sacked their coach and the transfer window has just opened.

 

I suspect he wont be 'doing nothing' for Fulham over the next 4 weeks.
