Your top 5 bigboard?

Pretty sure that’s why our top five drafts picks have mostly sucked. If one of those d lineman is the unquestioned best player when we pick, take him. Prime example we took need(Bortles) over BAP(Mack) and it makes no sense to continue to do the same over and over. If we take another qb just off need and he’s [BLEEP], they might as well move to London. If the top couple QBs are gone and Bosa is there, I dont see how you pass on him especially with Fowler gone and Calais at the end of his career and 15 mil cap hit. We could trade back into the first and get good value on a QB most likely. Especially if Haskins and Herbert come out. A Dline of Bosa-Dareus-Bryan-Yannick would look nasty. His brother fell to 3 so it's possible he could as well if a couple teams fall In love with a few of the QBs
Yeah if it's for the Jags then it's pretty much a 2 man big board. You do what you have to do to get Herbert or Haskins.
I'm not sold on Herbert from what I've seen. But I've also only watched 3 games of his so far

He certainly has some tools and perhaps it is the Oregon system but he's had a lot games under 60% completion and a few clunkers under 50 (11-28-2018, 11:49 AM)flgatorsandjags Wrote:(11-28-2018, 10:57 AM)Kane Wrote: Well....... sure... if possibly the best player falls to us at 3-5, you take him. I honestly couldn't be mad at landing Bosa. Even if it meant having to take a less desirable route at QB (keeping Bortles, playing Kessler, signing someone like Fitz, and/or drafting a round 2/3 QB like Finley) Him and Yan on edge with some combo of Dareus/Malik/Campbell/Bryan as interior guys would be nasty like Joey and Melvin in LA or the Rams line (obviously we're losing one of those vets guys this off season)

LOVE THEM JAGUARS!
In terms of Top 5 overall?
1. Bosa- Edge OSU 2. Oliver- DL Houston 3.J Williams- OT Alabama 4. Q. Williams-DT Alabama 5. Greedy Williams CB-LSU Top 5 of what I hope our draft looks like? In terms of our first 5 picks 1. Lock QB Mizzou 2. DK Metcalf WR Ole Miss (I’ve seen some draft mock him very early, even Top 10. Not sure if they are confusing him with AJ Brown but he’s 6’4 220 with freakish speed) 3-5 BPA preferably offensive line and over TE I think Irv Smith from Alabama could be a steal in the 3rd or 4th and I think once our entire O Line returns to full health, we will be okay

Our first round draft board should only include........
Haskins Herbert Grier Lock In my opinion, it's draft a QB or trade out of the first round altogether and stock up for 2020. We show less advertisements to registered users. With our schedule, I anticipate us winning either 1 or 2 more games which should enable them to remain in the top 10. They should be able to select the 2nd quarterback of this draft- either Herbert or Haskins. I just hope both those guys enter the draft. Grier may also be in the picture, depending on how highly the brass think of him. Round 1- QB Round 2- OL Round 3- WR and TE (12-02-2018, 10:17 PM)TheO-LineMatters Wrote: Our first round draft board should only include........ I dunno... suppose the NFL GMs really aren't as high on these QBs like some would suggest. Perhaps we get a guy like Grier at the top of round 2? If they feel comfortable in something like that, I wouldn't be mad at OL in round 1 (Like Jonah Williams)

Herbert has bust written all over him. Lock reminds me of Locker lol. I'd be all for doing what the Browns did recently with Kizer if Grier doesn't prove to be all that. Use Grier to bridge the season, trade him, then get the franchise guy 2020.

I'd be shocked if Grier made it out of the first round. I still like Herbert a lot and he has been dealing with some nagging injuries lately which has contributed to his slide. How does Lock in any way remind you of Locker? Lock is a big, rocket armed pocket QB, who has improved his completion percentage every year and now sits at 63%, while Locker was a dual threat with a limited arm, who was run happy and never even got to 60% passing completion in college and regressed his Senior season. To me, they are complete opposites. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

I'll come back with a better one.

To me, they are complete opposites. When comparing him to Lock, he's limited. Lock has elite arm strength. That's the one thing he really has over the rest of the class. He has an absolute rocket.
